We were lucky to have a cold but dry day for this walk. The Birchville Dam was really putting on a display as the dam was so full from all the rain during the week. It felt a long way climbing that very steep section – thanks goodness for poles! At the trig, we found Peter waiting for us, so after a quick stop, we continued back down along 3 Skulls Road.

At the end of the walk, most of us decided to have a coffee at Mitre 10.
