It was a very humid morning when we set off at 9.30am from Tulsa Park carpark. The first third of this walk is the steepest part and it wasn’t long before some were feeling the effects of the heat. Luckily, most of the uphill is in beautiful bush, so we were quite sheltered. It is just a shame the vegetation has grown so much, that those lovely views you could get on some of the corners were now gone. Because it was such a well-known walk to our club members everyone went at their own pace and we came together as a group again at the top. After a snack and some photos, it was off again down through the bush to 3 Skulls Road. After regrouping again, we walked along the road back to the turning back down to Tulsa Park. The walk took us about 2.5 hours.
Some of us went for a coffee and a snack or lunch afterwards at Mitre 10.
