We all met at Motukaraka Point where we left the cars.  It was very windy and a little cool and although rain was not predicted we had a little shower as we set off. We met a few walkers along the way.  Sharon bravely walked with us despite an Achilles injury until the Jet Ski Club and returned to her car so as not to stress her recovery. We carried on to Paremata for a morning tea stop where some of us ordered coffee from the cart and this is where we had a group photo.  The sun came out as we made our way back to the cars and then on to Ground Up where Sharon rejoined us.
