Pukerua Bay Ramble – Sunday 1st May 2022

12 of us set off on this walk starting at Pukerua Bay Railway Station carpark. We walked down to the old Muri Station and through onto old SH1 and down zigzag park to Brendan Beach and Pukerua Bay Beach. We walked around to The hole in the rock where some walkers waited whilst the rest of us walked to the rocky Wairaka Point. We returned to the reserve on the beachfront to have our lunch and then walked up another zigzag walkway to our cars. There were plenty of opportunities on this walk for photos as the views were spectacular. It was a most enjoyable walk. Ended up with coffee at Plimmerton Garden Centre.
