This walk was done in rather pleasant conditions; however, we did have a couple of very, very light showers, but nothing to be concerned about.  The walk started from the car par park on Incline road. 7 of us made our way back down Incline road and then turned onto the airstrip track. This track is a uphill until we get to turn off onto the bush track. Once we  navigated getting over the fence, under foot for some time was quite wet and muddy. The group made their way down to the Remutaka Cycle Trail. On this part of the trail there is great bush to be seen with views into the valley. We stopped for drinks and nibbles at the picnic table on the way back to the car park. We then made our way to the Te Marua Golf Club for hots drinks and treats. A good day.
