Three of us set off on the walk from Sladden Park to the Korokoro
Gateway. The conditions overhead were cloudy and the wind was rather
gusty as we walked the river bank with the Shandon Golf Club fairways
and greens either side of us. The walk along the beach was pleasant, as
underfoot was quite firm. We took a breather at the Korokoro stream area
and enjoyed the sun on us and the view of the harbour. The harbour was
ever changing as the clouds rolled rolled in and out giving the water in
the harbour many different colours. On our return to the car park, we
stopped for coffee - most enjoyable.
